Day 46 of 60 Days to 60 Years
Resurrection Catholic Parish
1963-2023
We are Resurrection Catholic Parish;
the living body of Christ.
We are called and challenged
to live a prayer-filled life,
heal a broken world,
share our timeless stories,
and act with a servant’s heart.
We are called to be the love of Jesus;
welcoming and loving all God’s people all the time.
60 Years of Memories
A Very Welcoming Parish
By Arletta LaHue
Although I am now in an assisted living residence, I continue to be a member of Resurrection and receive the bulletin each week.
I remember going to the Hilltopper gatherings. It was a good time to get away, meet other people, and socialize. I used to live on Libal Street, not far from Deacon Don Ropson’s mother. We would play cards together in the neighborhood.
Then her son became our deacon at Resurrection. He would always greet me as I came into church and tell me about how his mother was doing. Resurrection is a very welcoming parish.
Arletta LaHue has been a member of Resurrection Parish since 1993.
