Day 17 of 60 Days to 60 Years
Resurrection Catholic Parish
1963-2023
We are Resurrection Catholic Parish;
the living body of Christ.
We are called and challenged
to live a prayer-filled life,
heal a broken world,
share our timeless stories,
and act with a servant’s heart.
We are called to be the love of Jesus;
welcoming and loving all God’s people all the time.
60 Years of Memories
Sees the Face of God in All
By Sherry Moon
Resurrection means coming home. Not to the home of my daily living, but to the community that shares common ritual and witness. It is a constant in an ever-changing world, always there saying: “We are here. What can we do? How can we help? Can we celebrate? Can we walk with you?”
Resurrection provides opportunities for growth in faith and commitment to service. It sees the face of God in all its members and calls its members to do likewise.
Sherry Moon has been a member of Resurrection Parish since 1989.
Haikus
Members of the 2023 Resurrection confirmation class and their sponsors wrote haikus as part of their preparations to receive the sacrament.
Help me every day.
To spread your love to everyone.
Filled with your kindness.
—Hannah
Please God, confirm me.
Thank you for all you give me.
Bring me closer to God.
